Mentioning My Unmentionables

By Joyce Shulman June 7, 2016
Knixwear is on a mission to make unmentionables mentionable. The latest addition to their line is the Evolution Bra. I’m wearing now. As I work, sitting at my computer in a hotel room. They sent me a bra to check out, so let me tell you a little about it and how it feels.

The bra is seamless and until you’ve worn a seamless bra, I don’t think you can appreciate how smooth it feels. The straps are not so wide that you feel like you are wearing your grannie’s brassiere, but not so narrow that they cut into your shoulders. It’s pretty, with a subtle black and white pattern (two other fabric combinations are available) – though if that’s ever too much, say under a black top, the Bra is reversible to a solid black. The support feels more than ample – something in between a bra you’d wear under a dress and your favorite sports bra. I often have trouble sizing bras because I’m right between a 34 and 36 and right between a b and c cup. Always, right in between and when I go smaller, the bra is too small and larger it’s too big. I’m like Goldilocks when it comes to sizing bras. The Evolution Bra is a size 2 fits me perfectly.

I might never take it off.

And that is largely the point, as the team that created the Evolution intended for this to be the ultimate bra, the bra that “adapt to the rigors of your busiest days, seamlessly transitioning between work, play and whatever else you are up to.”

I'm in.
