Summer Reading

Summer reading.  The words bring to mind relaxing times by the pool, catching up on the latest trashy novel or mystery.  As if. 

It's rarely that easy to catch up on the stack of books on the night stand.  Joyce and I call it "book debt", the number of books we have bought, but not yet read. 

But reading is fundamental, and the summer is a great time to connect yourself and your children with a good book.  So, if you get the chance, here's a couple of good books and some ideas for Summer reading for you and your family.
