I have been taking my older son to Baby Love Disco (www.babylovesdisco.com) for years and now my little one is at the perfect age to boogie down with us as well.  This disco dance party for families and their kids (6m – 7 yrs primarily) has evolved lots since we began going year ago.  The 2012 We Are Family Tour is zigzagging across the country once again hitting clubs, malls, military installations, community centers and charity events.  What can you expect?  Glad you asked!  The party has always revolved around dancing, dancing and more dancing and true to form, BLD this year is no exception.  Dance contests (yup with prizes, courtesy of H&M, Green Toys, Creativity for Kids and more!), simon says, freeze dance, red light green light and more on the dance floor.  And when the wee ones need a break go over and create a Family Tree, sock puppet, get a tattoo or mani mani.  Chow down on the healthy snacks provided at all ticketed events along with juice boxes and a cash bar for non driving parents.  Oh and everyone gets a goody bag to boot!

Sweet new addition this year is the H&M Family Makeover – at every mall stop, you can enter online ahead of time and tell them why your fam needs an H&M makeover.  The winner gets a personal shopper at that mall event and then catwalks to show off their new duds (and of course enjoys the rest of the party!)   Go to their Facebook page (www.facebook.com/babylovesdisco) for more info and to enter.
