In the past I've thought "I wish I had a whiteboard in my house". A place to leave notes for the wife, kids, reminders, etc. But who wants their house looking like an office or school room. So there's been no whiteboard for us.

But I recently learned about a neat new type of whiteboard, a designer whiteboard. These boards are anything but boring. They have unique borders, and even non-white backgrounds that you can still write on.

Check them out here. They plan on bringing them to Kickstarter.com soon, but maybe you can get one before the masses.
