Macaroni Music

Bug in a Puddle

By Joyce Shulman December 15, 2010

Okay, I'm probably dating myself here, but I have a real soft spot for the group that created the song made classic by Coke in the 70s.  Yup, those were the days when Coke wanted to Teach the World to Sing ... in perfect harmony.

Now recording as Treehouse 10, four members of the original group have just released their debut children's CD, entitled Bug in a Puddle on Oniram Music.  Macaroni Kid is proud and excited as one of the band members is its own Danbury, Connecticut Publisher Mom, Meghan McDermott Friedland.

Each of the eleven songs on Treehouse 10's first album tells a story with a hint of poetry and lots of animals along the way.  They are whimsical, charming and close, appropriately, with It's Getting to be Nighttime, a lovely lullaby.  Visit Treehouse 10 for more info.
