Building toys are always winners in our book. They allow kids to use their imaginations to build the structure of their choice, and helps them learn some patience in following steps to construct something awesome. K'NEX is great for both of these and has sets for every age group and skill level. Their newest sets are even cooler than before - parts of it are motorized! Kids can build things like a roller coaster with their Amazin' 8 Coaster set, and when complete, send a motorized car up the chain lift and then down the spiraling track. Great for ages 7 and up, but grown-ups will probably want to help a little too.
