Etnies for the Holidays?

By Eric Cohen - Macaroni Dad December 2, 2014
The holidays are a time of celebration. Yet in this age of rampant commercialization, it’s easy to forget what we are celebrating…love, peace, family & giving. Not just giving in terms of presents, but giving in terms of spirit.

etnies, the sneaker brand gets this, and they are walking the walk this holiday season with their “Get for Giving Holiday Campaign”.  In addition to the thousands of shoes they donate every year, they will be planting a tree for each pair of shoes sold.

To encourage other families to join in the spirit of giving, etnies Kids has a contest where readers could win their share of $500 in prizes. Simply snap & share a pic of giving back (volunteering, donating clothes, etc) and share the photo on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #get4giving. Or you can upload it on their site

They sent us a pair of their girls Scout Kids shoe for Maddie to try and she loved them. They are very comfortable and light, and at just under $40, they are reasonably priced. With the quality, comfort and price, I feel like I discovered a great new "find" that I had no idea existed. They are worth checking out, and you can feel good about supporting this brand.
