As parents, we’re always looking for ways to make life easier. Whether than means clicking a button to have groceries (or fully cooked meals) delivered, choosing a minivan over your favorite sedan in order to haul your kids’ sports gear around, or finding simple solutions for keeping your house in order, we do what we have to do!
All that said, I’ve probably NOT made my own life easier by keeping as many as six large dogs in my house at any given time.
That’s okay though – we’re a dog-loving household, and they bring us lots of joy. Of course, they also create lots of mess. (Did I mention I also have two boys, ages 10 and 12, who track in so much dirt you’d think they brought the ballpark into my kitchen?)
I’m admittedly not very good at keeping my home organized or spotless. But, I am all about vacuuming up the dog hair that has taken over my house. There are so many tumbleweeds you’d think we lived in the Wild West. Plus that dirt. Well, I’ve already mentioned the dirt.
My vacuum simply has not been doing the trick. I find an upright is necessary for me to do the tough job in my house, but mine is not only cumbersome, getting to hard-to-reach places is extremely difficult.
