It's September. The kids are back in school and we are back into our beloved routines. The holidays are months away. What better time to take a good, long look at how we can simplify our lives to make more space for the things we love?
That's why I invite you all to join me for Macaroni Kid's Simplify September.
Over the course of the month, we will work to simplify in three main areas:
1. Simplify our stuff.
I don't know about you, but we have too much stuff. And it clutters my home, my mind, and my time. You know that closet? Let's organize it. That junk drawer? Let's purge it. And the kids' toy bin? Well, you get it.
2. Simplify our time.
Over-committed? I get it. Let's be sure we are being as deliberate as possible so that we are committing only to those things that make our lives better and that we are using our time to get the things done that need to get done as efficiently as possible
3. Simplify our minds.
Those things hanging over your head? Those "goals" you haven't taken steps towards crushing? Those uncomfortable conversations you have been putting off? The endless "to do" list that is swirling around using valuable brain space? Let's simplify them all.
Simplifying together
Here's how it will work. Each day, I will send you an email with a thought, a tip and, most importantly, a task. Most will take less than an hour (though some will require a larger commitment over a couple of days).
Subscribe to our daily emails HERE (and of course you can unsubscribe at any point!).
You are also invited to join our private Simplify September Facebook group.
Share your journey with us on social media by using the hashtag #MKSimplifySeptember.
Many Macaroni Kid publishers participated in Simplify September last year. As a group, we found it so helpful that in 2018 we wanted to open up the concept to all of our readers, followers, and friends! So please feel free to pass this along or share your journey as we all work to simplify September.
