Learn the buzz! Meet beekeepers in this free and virtual event!

From African American History and Culture Museum: This Black History Month, join NMAAHC Kids in learning about our amazing planet from Black nature lovers and explorers! During this Zoom webinar program, meet beekeepers Timothy Jackson and Nicole Lindsey, founders of Detroit Hives. Timothy and Nicole will teach children about beekeeping, the importance of pollination and Black bee scientists. Plus, they’ll answer audience questions live! Then, a museum educator will guide children in creating a colorful flower collage inspired by floral art in the Smithsonian collection.
