Techgirlz is a nonprofit whose mission is to inspire middle school girls to explore the possibilities of technology to empower their future careers. Check out this upcoming free workshop they're hosting called Cybersecurity Basics.
From Techgirlz: In this workshop, students will learn about cybersecurity on the personal and corporate level. They will learn how to stay safe from scammers and how to protect their information by creating strong passwords. Then, they will learn the basics of networking, how data travels across the internet and what organizations can do to protect themselves from attackers trying to steal their data.
